kano Gov appoints Prime Time News CEO, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu as CPS to Deputy 

The Kano State Governor His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment of PRIME TIME NEWS CEO, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu as Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo.

Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Chief Press Secretary to Kano State Governor confirmed the appointment in a statement today (Friday).

Mr. Garba’s appointment a well deserved one was based on his competence, loyalty, commitment, hard work and contribution to the development of Journalism in Kano state.

Mr. Ibrahim is a seasoned Journalist who started his career with THISDAY Newspaper as a jovial young journalist.

Prior to his appointment, he was also the Senior Special Assistant (North West) to the President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr Christopher Isuguzo.

Shu’aibu, who is the Chairman of the Correspondent Chapel of NUJ, is the State Correspondent of THISDAY Newspapers covering Kano State.

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Hons.) in Library and Information Science/Political Science from the prestigious Bayero University, Kano, Garba holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and is currently undergoing Masters in Public Relations.

The appointee is also a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The entire staff of PRIME TIME NEWS while celebrating their CEO and Publisher, Mr Ibrahim Garba, extolled him as a humble and true leader that everyone is proud to be associated with.

The staff all wished their CEO and Publisher, Mr Garba more success in His path as well as prayed for Allah’s blessing, mercy and guidance now and forever on Him.
