GAA seeks Budgetary Allocation for Gamemasters
The Chairman of, the Gombe State Athletics Association, Dr. Ahmad Shu’aibu Gara has advocated special budgetary provisions for for the training of game masters
He made call at the opening ceremony of a Two day Train the Trainers workshop for Game Masters from Gombe Local Government Primary Schools.
Shuaibu Gara urged government to organize training programmes towards reviving sports activities in primary and secondary schools which will serve as an opportunity for the students to get some basic skills required in sports activities.

Dr Shuaibu Gara noted that the Gombe State Athletics Association has decided to organize a training session for Game Masters ahead of the 1st Gombe State Inter Primary School Athletics Championship that will be held soon to achieve success.
The Chairman urged the participants to be proactive and focused on their training guaranteeing them the best experience considering the number of competent resource persons grabbed to handle the workshop.
He commended the organizing committee for the job well done which was made up of members both within the association and Gombe Local Education Authority, charging them to redoubtable their efforts to achieve success in the forthcoming 1st Gombe State Athletics Championship.
In his speech at the occasion, the Executive Secretary, Gombe Local Education Authority, Malam Abubakar Baba praised the Athletics Championship for the first time in Gombe state, assuring his full support and cooperation.
