Solohan & Co holds Masterclass for Law Students, Trains over 600

Africa’s premier legal outfit company, Solohan & Co, has concluded a two-day masterclass for over 600 law students intending to write their final bar examination.

A statement by the company said the masterclass was designed as part of its corporate social responsibility, with an objective to equip bar aspirants with the essential knowledge to excel in their final examination.

The company explained that having recognized the challenges faced by law students, it came up with the initiative to create a platform where aspiring lawyers could enhance their understanding of the legal profession, adding that the masterclass intends to bridge the gap between law school education and practical knowledge needed to succeed at the bar examination

“The primary objective of the master class is to equip bar aspirants with the essential knowledge and skills required to excel in their bar exams.

“Recognizing the challenges faced by law students preparing for the bar exams, Solohan & Co Foundation through its founder Omojo Wada Esq took the initiative to create a platform where aspiring lawyers could enhance their understanding of the legal profession and increase their chances of success.

The firm said the fourth edition of the masterclass which was held on the 8th and 9th of July 2023, had a broad curriculum covering all key areas of the bar exam, adding that interactive sessions with legal experts, as well as lectures and workshops also featured during the masterclass.

The firm further described the masterclass as a significant milestone for the participants, stating that the masterclass has affirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility and empowering the next generation.

“The event featured distinguished legal experts who shared their insights, experiences, and strategies for success in the bar exams. Their guidance provided valuable tips on exam preparation, time management, effective study techniques, and tackling challenging questions. This mentorship aspect of the master class aimed to instill confidence and motivation in the aspiring lawyers, empowering them to perform at their best,” the firm said in a statement.
