Rotary Clubs, Foundation Train FCT Teachers on Modern Teaching Skills

Rotary Clubs in Abuja District 9125, in partnership with Greenolives Development Foundation (GDF), has launched an Educational Empowerment Project for teachers in Federal Capital Territory, FCT, schools.

Themed, “Empowering Teachers to Empower Students,” the launching event was held at Government Girls Secondary School Dutse, in Abuja.

PRNigeria gathered that the event witnessed the training and equipping of over 120 teachers across various public schools in the FCT, with modern educational training kits aimed at boosting their teaching capacities.

The training is meant to deepen teachers’ capacity in order to gain valuable insights, explore new techniques and acquire practical skills that they can apply directly in their classrooms.

In the long run, the teachers will learn modern teaching methodologies, innovative approaches, and best practices that will enable them to create dynamic and interactive learning environments in their various schools.

The District 9125 Governor Nominee (DGN), Dame Joy Nky Okoro, underscored the need to empower and upgrade FCT teachers’ skills, from traditional to the modern techniques of teaching.

In her remarks, Principal of the host School, Mrs. Fatima Mohammed, appreciated Rotarians in Abuja for the choice of their school among several others, to carry out the laudable project.
