CP Auwal Musa Sustains Inter-Agency Cooperation with Heads of Security in Bauchi
The Commissioner of Police Bauchi State Command, CP Auwal Musa Muhammad psc visited the heads of security agencies in the state on 17th July 2023.
The Familiarization visit symbolized the spirit of synergy aimed at uplifting the security disposition of the state to a higher level.
The Commissioner of Police and his team visited the Brigade Commander, Nigerian Army 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General E. Egbe, the Commander of Nigerian Army Armour Corps (NAAC), Major General MS Ahmed, the State Director Department of Security Service (DSS), Hussaini Abdullahi Bokani, Comptroller Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) CCS Ali Abubakar Bajoga, Customs Area Comptroller, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) CC Dim.
The visit is part of the traditions of a newly posted Commissioner of police in the state to visit heads of security agencies domiciled in the state to foster synergy and collaboration.
In his remarks, the Commissioner of Police said that the visits afforded him the opportunity to familiarise himself with the respective heads of security organizations and their subordinates in the state to strengthen the existing cordial working relationship between the police and other sister security organizations in the state and to further enhance the synergy and collaboration that has been existing from time immemorial.
He added that all security organizations are interdependent and also interrelated in their commitment toward the attainment of sustainable security of lives and property of citizens in the state and beyond.
He also stressed that a perfect synergy between the Police and other security organizations in Bauchi is critical and therefore, it should always be strengthened and maintained.

Responding, the Commander 33 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General E. Egbe, congratulated the CP for the well-deserved posting and welcomes him to Bauchi. He further said that the current peaceful atmosphere enjoyed in Bauchi State is a result of the cordial relationship/synergy between the security apparatus in the State.
On his part, the Commander Nigerian Army Armour Corps (NAAC), Major General MS Ahmed commended CP Auwal Musa Muhammad for the visit, adding that security would only be achieved through teamwork-driven strategies and tactics hence the need for synergy/cooperation among all security structures in the state.
The State Director Department of Security Services (DSS) SDS Hussaini Abdullahi Bokani in his remarks started by welcoming CP Auwal Musa Mohammad. He said that the synergy between security organisations is very crucial to achieve the set goal and assures the CP of his maximum cooperation.
The Comptroller of Nigerian Correctional Service, CCS Ali Abubakar Bajoga in his comments thanked the CP Auwal Musa Muhammad for having time out of his tight schedule to familiarize himself with his office. He added that the Police is the lead agency in internal security (mother) of every other security organization which has exceptional duties on criminal cases and other herculean tasks to discharge.
The Customs Area Comptroller, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) CC Dim, also welcomed CP Auwal Musa Muhammad to Bauchi and further stated that there is no reason for any security organisation to downplay the existence of and need for a cordial relationship with other security organizations to confront security challenges in the state.
Consequently, he promises to sustain the robust collaboration with the police and other law enforcement agencies to end crimes and criminalities in the state and beyond.
Finally, the Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Musa Muhammad’s psc re-emphasis on rebuilding synergy/cooperation between men and officers of the police and other security organizations in the state towards achieving the same goal.
