Saudi Arabia hosts National Security Advisors Summit on Ukrainian crisis
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has hosted a Summit for the National Security Advisors and representatives of a number of countries on the Ukrainian crisis.
The meeting which was held in Jeddah marks a continuation of the humanitarian initiatives and efforts exerted by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the communications made with the Russian and Ukrainian leaderships since the early days of the crisis.
A release obtained by PRNigeria from Saudi Embassy stated that the meeting was held at the weekend.

The meeting, which was chaired by the Saudi Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Mosaad bin Mohammad Al-Aiban chaired contributes to reinforcing dialogue and cooperation through the exchange of views, coordination, and deliberations at the international level on the ways to ensure a solution for the crisis through political and diplomatic means and in a way that strengthens international peace and security, sparing the world further humanitarian, security, and economic repercussions of the crisis.
The participants agreed on the importance of continuing international consultations and exchanging opinions in order to build a common ground that will pave the way for peace. They also emphasized the importance of benefiting from views and positive suggestions made during this meeting.
The participants expressed their appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for calling for this meeting and hosting it.
Other participating countries at the meeting included Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Comoros, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, European Commission, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Itali and Japan.
Other include Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Korea, Romania, Slovak, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, the United Nations, and the United States of America.
