Paramilitary heads assure Interior minister, Tunji-Ojo of reinforced protection for citizens
Dr Ahmed Audi, Commandant-General (CG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assured the new Minister of Interior, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, of strengthened efforts to protect lives and property of the citizens.
Audi said this while giving a goodwill message on-behalf of the heads of paramilitary agencies under the Ministry as the new Minister assumes office on Monday in Abuja.
The agencies under the Ministry of Interior are; Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, NSCDC and the Federal Fire Service.

He said that the corps alongside sister agencies will remain dedicated to safeguard the internal security architecture of the country.
The CG assured the Minister of the readiness and unalloyed commitment of all security agencies in the ministry to move the mandates of the current administration.
” I want to assure you that we are all ready to work with you and deliver the dividend of democracy to Nigerians in line with President Bola Tinubu’s renew hope agenda.
“ We will also sustain our continued effort to safeguard the internal security of the country,” he assured.
Earlier, the new minister tasked the agencies under the ministry and key stakeholders to let trust, cooperation and patriotism be their guide in their quest to establish strong synergy
