Gen. Musa Speaks on Leadership Concepts as CDS, Visits Defence Academy
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has assured the readiness of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) to support the aspirations and policies of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.
General Musa made the assurance on Tuesday while presenting a paper to members of Senior Course 46 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) in Abuja.
Titled “Nigeria Security and Defence Policies: My Leadership Concepts for the Armed Forces of Nigeria”.

In his presentation, General Musa highlights his vision for the AFN, for committed to defending democracy, upholding the rule of law, and fighting forms of insecurity in the country while also stressed the importance of professionalism and discipline in the military.
Speaking to the course participants, Musa said, “The AFN is ready to support the new administration in achieving its goals and objectives. We will work with the government to secure the country and make it safe for all Nigerians.”
He urged participants to be loyal to the constitution and to uphold the highest standards of military conduct.
In addition to his visit to the AFCSC, General Musa also paid an operational visit to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna. At the NDA, he charged the cadets to see their admission to the academy as a rare privilege and to be prepared to serve the nation with honour and distinction.
General Musa also inspected ongoing projects at both the NDA and the AFCSC and promised to complete the project as soon as possible.
