Ground Troops kill Notorious Bandit Leader, Mai-Nasara, Arrest 5 Others in Kebbi
Nigerian soldiers have killed a wanted bandit nicknamed Mai-Nasara in a raid on Sangeko forest in Kebbi State.
They also arrested five other suspected members of his gang.
Alhaji AbdulRahman Usman, Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, confirmed the news in a statement on Tuesday.

He praised the soldiers for their gallantry and appealed to the public to support them in their fight against crime.
“Your support and cooperation is highly necessary for the security agencies to achieve the desired goal of flushing out criminals and restore peace and normalcy in our land.
“Security is supposed to be everybody’s business, therefore, people should endeavour to assist the security agencies in all ramification, especially with credible intelligence towards successful combats,” the director pleaded,” he said.
