NAHCON Constitutes Two Teams on 2024 Hajj Operations
The Ag. Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, has inaugurated two separate Committees – the E-track Committee and the Pre-Licensing, Inspection of Tour Operators Committee – as part of preparations for next year’s Hajj.
A six-man team is to oversee the operation of Hajj E-Track Portal while the Pre-Licensing Team will inspect the Offices of Tour Operator applicants.
In his speech, Malam Arabi described the E-Track as the nerve centre of Hajj preparation where all arrangements of visa, feeding, accommodation, transportation and payments are made.
He tasked the Team to undertake the assignment given to then with utmost sincerity and diligence.
“Your assignment is fundamental to the success or otherwise of Hajj operation, it is the heart and nerve of the entire Hajj activities. It is the reason you were carefully selected, based on your track record of sincerity, integrity and honesty,” he said.

He assured them of the Management’s maximum support in the discharge of their assignment.
“I want to assure you of my maximum support at all times so, you will have no excuse for failing and non-performance. I want to therefore charge you to justify the confidence reposed in you by making us proud,” he added.
The Team Leader in his response thanked the Chairman and Management for the confidence reposed in them, pledging to make them proud in discharging the assignment.
Similarly, in his address during the inauguration of an 11-man Team on the 2024 Hajj Pre-Licensing Inspection Team for Tour Companies, the Ag. Chairman/CEO charged the team to discharge their assignment without fear or favour.
He said: “Guard your integrity, you don’t need to lose your respect, you don’t need to belittle yourself, you don’t need to lower your self esteem just for worldly things.”
In response, the Team leader, thanked the Chairman for finding them worthy of and assured they would execute their assignment diligently.
