Gov Abdulrazaq Inaugurates Mustapha Led-KWETA Board
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on Friday, 23rd November, 2023, inaugurated the Board for the Kwara State Education Trust Agenda (KWETA) at the Government House in Ilorin.
The Governor described the work of the newly inaugurated Board, chaired by Abdulhakeem Uthman Mustapha, SAN , as a strategic step for excellent learning and sustainable development in improving the education.
He fervently expressed optimism in the Board, to assist his led administration in undertaking measures to facilitate adolescent skills and learning for kwara youths that will enhance the state investment in education.
His Excellency acknowledge his gratefulness to the members for coming on board in the bid to build partnership and investment that will leave a lasting legacy.

Board chairman, Abdulhakeem Uthman Mustapha, A senior advocate of Nigeria, expressed appreciation to his excellency in entrusting his led board for the huge task and for prioritising education which is a yard stick for planting seed for the future.
He assured of members’ commitment to help improve the state investment portfolio through the trust fund and remarked the Board will work at accelerating reforms and collaborate with the relevant agencies to facilitate ease of transformation agenda.
The legal luminary while commending his excellency for his forward thinking approach, added that on his own part, he will work without renumeration or allowance from the Government.

Iyinoluwa Aboyeji (co-founder of Andela and former managing director of Flutterwave), Prof. Deborah Adekeye (senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ilorin) and Oluwadamilola Fatimah Amolegbe – the Executive Secretary.
Members of the state executive Council present at the gathering were Prince Mahe Abdulkadri (Chief of Staff), Professor Maman Jubril (Secretary to the state government), Hajia Saddatu Modibo Kawu (Commissioner of Education).
