DHQ Confirms PRNigeria Story Over Killing of Bandits’ Kingpin, Ali Kachalla by NAF Air Strike

The Military High Command has confirmed PRNigeria‘s story on the killing of four notorious terrorist commanders including Ali Kachalla, in a recent aerial bombardment by the Nigerian Air Force.

According to the Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, other bandit warlords that were neutralized included Machika, Haro and Dan Muhammadu respectively.

Recall that PRNigeria had on 11th December reported how the wanted kingpin, Ali Kachalla was killed after attacking a team of security operatives on a patrol exercise in Niger State.

PRNigeria gathered from defence intelligence source that Ali Kachalla had attacked a detachment of security operatives deployed at Mangoro Community in Munya LGA of Niger State.

The military intelligence source said when alerted, NAF aircrafts under Operation Whirl Punch swiftly responded to support the troops in distress.

Buba added that Kachalla was neutralised in Munya Local Government Area of Niger along with many of his foot soldiers.

According to him, the military is fast closing in on others and they will equally suffer the same fate.

Buba said that air assets conducted aggressive air flights on confirmed locations active with the movement of terrorist commanders and their foot soldiers.

He added that the strikes carried out resulted in the killing of over 38 terrorist commanders and their foot soldiers, while 159 others were arrested.

“The armed forces is hunting down prominent terrorist leaders and engaging them wherever they are hiding.

“The military will continue to take the fight to the terrorists and their cohorts until they are destroyed or surrendered,’ he said.
