Military Troops Rescue Nursing Mother, 9 Others Abducted in Niger
Troops of the Nigerian military have rescued a nursing mothers and nine others kidnapped by terrorists in Niger State, PRNigeria reports.
The captives include six females and four males.
According to a security source, who will not disclose his name, in the operation leading to the rescue of the abducted persons, troops also eliminated some of the terrorists during a gun battle.

The incident, the source, noted took place at Kwaga village of Birnin Gwari local government of Kaduna State.
“The bandits, riding about 20 motorcycles carrying 12 people (mostly females) kidnapped from Basa village of Shiroro local government area of Niger State, were about to cross through Kwaga village, but were engaged and neutralized by the Army on patrol,” he said.
Meanwhile, PRNigeria gathered that the rescued civilians were later transported back to their families.
