Gov Bago Hails Election of NIPR Exco in Niger

Niger State Governor, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated the newly elected officials of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Niger State Chapter.

The Farmer Governor in a congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the newly elected officials as worthy ambassadors.

He observed that the NIPR is a reputable and professional organization that has been contributing immensely to Nation-building.

The Farmer Governor said he is confident that the new executive of the NIPR in the State headed by the former Chief Press Secretary to late Governor Abdulkadir Abdullahi Kure, will not lower the flag of the organization but will rather take it to greater hight.

While assuring the officials of his administraion’s readiness to partner the organization, to ensure good governance, he called on them to remain committed in upholding the ethics of the profession.

Recall that the NIPR Niger State Chapter held its Conference and Annual General Meeting recently where the new executives were elected and inaugarated to pilot the affairs of the organization for the next two years.

Mahmud Abdullahi is the new Chairman; Mary Noel Berje, Vice chairman; Aliyu Jibo Secretary; Zubairu Emimaru the Assistant Secretary; Kolos Mohd the public Relations Officer; Mohd Ali treasurer; Dr Abimbola Dada Financial Secretary and Mrs. Lydia Legbo, Auditor.

The Ex-Officios are Musa Ladan, Mustapha Alhassan, Mohd Abubakar and Dr Sunday Ogala.
