Ramadan: Malam Inuwa Foundation Plans to Feed 15,000 Persons

As Muslims observe Fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, Malam Inuwa Foundation has commenced its annual Ramadan Feeding Programme, a beacon of hope and compassion for the vulnerable.

The Chairman of the group, Alhaji Hussaini Baba said with the spirit of giving at its core mandate, the foundation provides daily iftar meals to thousands in Hadejia Town, Jigawa state.

He added that beyond its spiritual significance, Ramadan serves as a reminder of the stark realities many face. The feeding programme also exemplified the essence of Ramadan – charity, empathy, and community support.

He said the foundation recognised the endeavours and provided ease to many during this sacred month and through its daily iftar feeding programme.

“The reach of the Foundation’s Ramadan Feeding Programme extends far beyond numbers. By feeding 500 individuals daily, totalling 15,000 throughout the month, the foundation is weaving a tapestry of compassion and solidarity within the community, from the corridors of correctional centres to various locations within the Hadejia town, leaving an indelible mark of kindness and support.

“In a world plagued by economic hardships and social disparities, the foundation’s efforts to support the vulnerable are more crucial than ever.

” Through Ramadan Feeding Programme, the foundation will provide Iftar meal as a lifeline of hope and dignity to those facing adversity. By addressing the immediate need for food security, the programme empowers individuals to focus on their spiritual journey during Ramadan, free from hunger.

“The Ramadan Feeding Programme is a testament to the power of community unity and solidarity. As beneficiaries break their fast with nourishing meals provided by the foundation, they are reminded of the strength found in unity and the importance of supporting one another, especially during challenging times.

“As we embrace the spirit of giving during this holy month, let us join hands with Malam Inuwa Foundation in its noble quest to feed people in need and uplift the vulnerable,” he concluded.
