    Female Police Officer, DSP Mariam Yusuf Hailed for Outstanding Performance at Military College

    The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has commended, a female police officer, DSP Mariam Yusuf for her outstanding performance at the just concluded Junior Course 95 of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna State.

    The officer was hailed for her exceptional performance in emerging the Best Non-Military Student in the Course by showcasing her dedication and competence in the rigorous training program that had participants from other African countries.

    Yusuf who was a former Police Public Relations Officer of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command, is the first female Police Officer to attend the military course in Jaji which is designed to foster interagency collaboration with the Military.

    Her achievement reflects not only her individual merit but also highlights the capabilities of women in law enforcement.

    Through her hard work and commitment, DSP Yusuf has demonstrated the importance of gender diversity and inclusion in security institutions. Her success serves as an inspiration to other female officers, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their careers.

    In celebrating DSP Mariam Yusuf’s achievement, the police force reaffirms its commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent regardless of gender. Her outstanding performance not only brings honor to herself but also enhances the reputation of the Nigerian Police Force.

    Other participants at the course included officers from Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Department of State Security Service (DSS), Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)

    The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi was also excited in his remarks which stated that, “Congratulations to DSP Mariam Yusuf, former PPRO FCT, for your outstanding performance as the Best Non-Military Student in the just concluded Junior Course 95 at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna. We celebrate you.”
