The Abuja Chapter of Bayero University Kano Class of 1992 recently hosted a Pre-Retirement Entrepreneurship Training workshop, giving its members a unique opportunity to prepare for life after retirement.

Held at the PRNigeria Centre, the workshop focused on setting up sustainable businesses to keep members engaged and provide a steady income stream post-retirement.

Chapter Chairman Alhaji Maidu Gajo Elleman emphasized the importance of preparing for retirement, as most members are now over 50. “We can’t just retire and go back home to sleep. We need to prepare for what comes next.” The training aimed to equip members with techniques for a fulfilling post-retirement life.
