Miyetti Allah Congratulates President Tinubu on Anniversary, Seeks Livestock Ministry
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his first anniversary in office, praising his commitment to developing Nigeria’s infrastructure, agricultural development, and enhanced security.
In a statement signed by the National President, Baba Othman Ngelzarma, MACBAN commended President Tinubu for his vision and courage in the face of challenges, expressing hope that his administration will deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

The association particularly applauded the President’s renewed hope agenda on agriculture, which includes massive investment in both agronomy and livestock production. MACBAN looks forward to the creation of a ministry for livestock, as promised by the President, to handle the 15 trillion naira industry and its value chain, which has the potential to provide millions of quality jobs to Nigerian youth.
MACBAN also appealed to the President to allow for the standalone existence of the National Commission for Nomadic Education, which is crucial for the continued well-being of Nigerian nomads.
However, the association expressed concern over the profiling and extortion of innocent pastoralists by security agencies, urging the President to address this issue to strengthen the faith of ordinary Nigerians in his renewed hope agenda.
MACBAN pledged to continue supporting President Tinubu’s quest to strengthen institutional frameworks to make Nigeria and Nigerians the pride of Africa in innovation and productivity.
