After Protest, Kano Gov Commends Police for Professionalism
A high-level delegation from the Kano State Government visited the Kano State Police Command to inspect suspects and exhibits recovered during recent looting incidents. The delegation also expressed appreciation for the Command’s efforts in maintaining peace and order in the State.

3. The delegation was received by the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba. The visit was aimed at assessing the progress made by the Police in investigating the destruction, and looting incidents, and prosecuting those involved.
4. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the number of suspects arrested, exhibits recovered, and the ongoing efforts to ensure that those responsible for the looting are brought to justice. The delegation also commended the Police for their professionalism and dedication to duty.
5. “The Kano State Government is committed to supporting the Police in their efforts to maintain peace and order in the state,” said Chief of Staff, Shehu Wada Sagagi. “We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the officers and men of the Kano State Police Command.”
6. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them of the Command’s continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in the State.
