Kano police nab notorious armed robber, recover 2 guns, ammunitions, N4.9m
The Kano State Police Command has arrested a notorious armed robber and recovered two AK-47 rifles with 47 rounds of live ammunition.
Also, the sum of Four Million, Nine Hundred and Eight-Six Thousand Naira (N4,986,000.00) was equally retrieved from the criminal.
The spokesperson of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa disclosed this information in a statement signed and made available to newsmen today.
According to him, the suspect, an indigene of Katsina State who was trying to escape, was apprehended by their personnel after receiving an intelligence report.

2. On 05/08/2024 at about 02:00am, a resident of Yandadi Village, Kunchi LGA, Kano State reported that armed robbers stormed his residence, attacked him, and robbed him of Fifteen Million Naira (N15,000,000.00).

5. A spot search revealed a sack containing two AK-47 Rifles with 47 rounds of live ammunition and cash, totaling four million, nine hundred, and eighty-six thousand naira (N4,986,000.00). Investigation is ongoing.
