NNPCL confirms PRNigeria report, hikes pump price across filling stations
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, from N855 per litre to N998 per litre.
Earlier yesterday, PRNigeria reports that Nigerians should expect increase in fuel price as the NNPCL ends middleman role with Dangote Refinery.

It was noted that this upward review represents 12.7% or N113 increase from the initial price.
PRNigeria reports this increase in the price of petrol, which came on Wednesday, was noticed at the pumps at all NNPCL depots in Lagos State.
Recall that the national oil company had on September 3, 2024 raised the price of petrol from N568, which was the lowest in Lagos, and N617 in some other parts of the country, to a minimum of N855, obtainable in Lagos.
