Kwara Governor Mourns Death of Aviation College Chairman, Yusuf Gobir
Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Captain Muhammad Ahmad Yusuf-Gobir, Chairman of the Ilorin Aviation College and Sarkin Gobir of Ilorin Emirate.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, Abdulrazaq described the loss as a personal one, having been close friends with the late Captain since childhood.

Furthermore , Governor Abdulrazaq praised Captain Yusuf-Gobir’s significant contributions as a technocrat and administrator, highlighting his instrumental role in the rapid transformation of the Aviation College.
“His fine legacies will remain a testament to his vision and dedication,” the Governor noted.
The Governor extended heartfelt condolences to the people of Ilorin Emirate and the family of the late Sarkin Gobir, asking Allah to grant him Al-jannah Firdaus and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
