Ilorin Anchor Elects Abdulbaki Jimoh as New President

In a significant step towards upholding its constitutional mandates, the Ilorin Anchor Men and Women Initiative (IAMWI) conducted its second successive election, culminating in the election of new executive members.

Following a thorough vetting process during which Eectoral committee screened all aspirants against minimum constitutional requirements, the names of the successful candidates were published on the IAMWI platform, allowing for a period of feedback and commentary from the membership.

In the absence of any objections, the members of the Forum elected Alhaji Abdulbaki Jimoh Jabaje as President; Alhaji Ahmed K. Suleiman, Vice President and Hajjia Rodiyah O. Yahaya as Secretary General.

The swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected executives is scheduled to take place during the Annual General Meeting of IAMWI.

In a statement, ELCOM expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah (SWT) for the successful conduct of the elections and thanked IAMWI members for their confidence and support throughout the process. The committee underlined the importance of community collaboration in executing its mandate.

The elections mark a pivotal moment for IAMWI, as the new leadership prepares to steer the association forward in the years ahead.
