VON Celebrates Nigerian Army TRADOC’s Commitment to Excellence and Partnership

In a heartfelt message, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), has expressed warm congratulations to the Nigerian Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) as it prepares for its 2024 Merit Award Ceremony.

The message highlighted the strong partnership between VON and the Nigerian Army, particularly noting the positive relationship cultivated between Major General Kelvin Aligbe, the Commandant of TRADOC, and the media organization. Ndace commended Aligbe for his exemplary leadership during his tenure on the frontlines of counter-insurgency efforts in the North East, which has significantly contributed to the professionalism and success of the army.

Ndace praised the TRADOC Merit Award for its role in reinforcing the values of good order and discipline within the army, emphasizing that acknowledging exemplary behavior is essential for achieving the Nigerian Army’s objectives.

“The TRADOC Merit Award stands as a testament to the Nigerian Army’s dedication to excellence and professionalism,” Ndace stated, echoing sentiments that Major General Aligbe’s leadership has fostered a culture of distinction among officers.

Additionally, Ndace offered best wishes for a speedy recovery to General Taoreed Lagbaja and expressed support for the Acting Chief of Army Staff, Major General Olufemi Olatubosun Oluyede, in leading the forces in their ongoing fight against terrorism.

The Director General reaffirmed VON’s commitment to maintaining a strong partnership with TRADOC and the wider Nigerian Armed Forces, emphasizing the importance of sharing the army’s successes and promoting a positive narrative of their efforts. He concluded by noting that by celebrating the achievements of outstanding officers, the Nigerian Army can inspire a new generation of leaders to follow in their footsteps.

This message serves to strengthen the relationship between Voice of Nigeria and the Nigerian Army, paving the way for ongoing collaboration in the pursuit of national security and excellence.
