PRNigeria Awards Scholarships to Corps Members for National Stability Research

The management of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), publishers of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, has awarded Master’s Degree scholarships to two exceptional corps members, Mr. Haroon Aremu Abiodun and Mr. Kabir Fagge Ali.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IMPR, Alhaji Yushau Shuaib, made this announcement during the company’s weekly editorial meeting at its headquarters in Abuja.

Haroon and Kabir, who recently completed their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the PRNigeria Abuja Centre, collectively published over 40 articles on youth development and national security in national media.

The two corps members also co-authored a book titled “Youth Service for National Stability,” which was well-received and commended by the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Yushau D. Ahmed.

According to Alhaji Shuaib, the dedication and consistency of the two corps members led to the publication of the book, “Youth Service for National Stability: A Corps Members’ Chronicle.”

“Their hard work, which resulted in writing over 40 researched articles compiled into a book, has garnered significant attention and recognition from our stakeholders.

“The exceptional collaboration and teamwork between the two individuals are truly commendable. They have significantly contributed to IMPR’s success,” Shuaib added.

On behalf of the management and staff of IMPR, Shuaib presented a cash gift of N50,000 each to both corps members and wished them continued success in their future endeavors.

Both writers are graduates of Mass Communication. Haroon Abiodun graduated from the University of Ilorin, while Kabir Fagge Ali earned his degree from Skyline University Nigeria in Kano.

In a related development, IMPR management also acknowledged the resourcefulness of two female interns, Maymuna Abdulwahab from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and Rabi Ummi Umar of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.

Alhaji Shuaib commended Maymuna and Rabi for their remarkable contributions to the company’s Tech Digest platform and PRNigeria’s YouTube channel. Like Haroon and Kabir, they also received an undisclosed cash gift.

Earlier, Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulraheem, managing editor of Economic Confidential, emphasized the importance of hard work and encouraged

other IMPR staff and interns to follow the example set by the celebrated individuals.

“Hard work is essential in everything you do. Luck, if it exists, is minimal. The more effort you put in, the greater the reward will be. As these outstanding individuals prepare to move forward, we acknowledge their ambition, passion, and resourcefulness and wish them all the best in their future endeavors,” Abdulraheem said.
