D’Banj to Thrill Audience at African Military Games in Abuja

The Nigerian Afrobeat star, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, also known as, DBanj, will be thrilling audiences at the African Military Games Abuja (AMGA) 2024 opening ceremony.

The celebrated artist, known for his vibrant performances and chart-topping hits, will arrive in Abuja today, November 19, ahead of his show on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

A statement by Director Defence Information, Group Captain Chris Erondu, from the defence headquarters said DBang and his musical entourage are expected to touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 10:00 AM local time.

Their arrival will add colour to the event, which commenced on November 18 and has drawn military delegations from across Africa.

“Dbang’s performance at the opening ceremony is aimed at thrilling visiting African Military delegates at the games to further emplace Nigerian rich musical as well as cultural heritage.

“Abuja residents are, by this information, reminded and encouraged to en masse attend the AMGA opening ceremony and subsequent events lined up for the games,” the statement said.
