HCSF Launches Federal Secretariat Policy, Celebrates Promoted Directors
The Federal Government on Friday unveiled four transformative documents aimed at guiding the principles, practices, and priorities of the Federal Civil Service.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, announced that the first policy focuses on the Reward and Recognition of outstanding workers.
She explained that the second and third documents address Incentive and Consequence Management and the Mentoring Framework Policies and Guidelines, respectively. The fourth document outlines a protocol for the use of Federal Government secretariats.

“Today, we have embarked on a collective journey to redefine the ethos of public service delivery in Nigeria, setting the stage for a civil service that is professional, efficient, globally competitive, and responsive to the aspirations of all Nigerians,” Mrs. Walson-Jack said.
“This validation exercise exemplifies our unwavering commitment to charting a bold and transformative course for the Federal Civil Service, laying a solid foundation for sustained progress and impactful outcomes,” she added.
In a related development, Mrs. Walson-Jack congratulated newly-promoted Directors in the Federal Civil Service, including 95 Administrative Officers from her office.
Among the elevated Directors is Mrs. Olotu Eno Umoh, the Director of Information and Public Relations and spokesperson for the Head of Service.
