Abe also highlighted the command’s efficient management of key facilities, including three excise factories Leaf Tobacco and Commodity Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Breweries Plc (Kakuri and Kudenda), Seven-Up Bottling Company and the Inland Dry Port in Kakuri, Kaduna.

He also attributed the command’s successes to strategic initiatives introduced by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, and his management team.

He also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of sister agencies, including the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigerian Police Force, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other security operatives, in supporting the Command’s operations.

Abe reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining its momentum, enhancing revenue collection, and fostering a trade friendly environment within its jurisdiction.

PRNigeria reports that the figure marks a significant leap from the ₦14.2 billion collected during the same period in 2023.
