NIPR, ARCON, Institute Sign MoU on ‘Integrated Marketing Communication’
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU, signed on Friday in Abuja, focuses on an “Integrated Marketing Communication Regulatory Framework.”
The signing ceremony took place at ARCON’s headquarters, with key figures in attendance, including Dr. Ike Neliaku, President/Chairman of the NIPR Governing Council; Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, Director General of ARCON; and Mr. Idorenyen Enang, President of NIMN, among others.

In his welcome remarks, Dr. Fadolapo emphasized the importance of collaboration among professional institutions with shared objectives and overlapping functions.
According to him, the MoU will strengthen the regulatory frameworks of the three organizations.
“This collaboration will boost the ethical practice of professionals in our country’s marketing communication industry,” he said.
Dr. Neliaku, on his part, described the MoU signing as the birth of what he called the “Integrated Marketing Communication Regulatory Framework.”
“Together, we shall regulate effectively, professionally, and sustainably, ensuring that growth for our industry becomes inevitable,” he said.
