COAS Lauds Troops for Securing Kaduna-Abuja Road, Rails Against Terrorists
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has praised the troops of the 402 Special Forces (SF) Brigade for their outstanding performance in ensuring the safety of the Kaduna-Abuja road and rail corridor.
During his operational visit to the 402 SF Brigade Headquarters in Kaduna, Lieutenant General Oluyede commended the troops for their efforts in combating terrorism and other security challenges in the region.¹

Au statement by Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director Army Public Relations, said COAS reiterated his commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerian Army soldiers, ensuring they receive proper care and accommodation.
The COAS, who was received with a ceremonial Quarter Guard, acknowledged the challenges facing the troops and pledged to address them promptly.
Oluyede charged the officers of the Brigade to lead by example, courageously tackling security challenges within their operational area.
He encouraged the troops to sustain their momentum, noting that their exceptional performance has made them an indispensable asset to other units and formations.
