US Halts Ukraine Peace Plan to Consult European Allies
The development of a US-backed peace plan for Ukraine has been put on hold to allow for consultations with European allies, according to a report by The Telegraph.
The pause is intended to ensure that the opinions and concerns of NATO allies are taken into account before finalizing the plan.
US Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has committed to holding individual talks with NATO allies to gather their input and feedback.

This move suggests that the US is seeking a collaborative approach to resolving the Ukraine conflict, recognizing the importance of European support and cooperation.
He added that he would seek opinions on the form the plan should take and what contribution other governments could make to the peace process.
Meanwhile, Kellogg reportedly assured European partners that the U.S. wanted to strengthen Ukraine’s position in any negotiations with Russia.
On Feb. 6, Kellogg dismissed media reports suggesting he was going to present a plan to resolve the Ukraine conflict at the Munich conference.
The scheduled is for Feb. 14 to 16. He added that only the U.S. president could present such a plan.
On Monday, however, Bloomberg reported that Kellogg would present the plan in the coming weeks
