The Chairman of the National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) National Secretariat Building Task Team, Professor Emmanuel Dandaura, has commended the steady progress of the ongoing construction of the NIPR National Secretariat.

Professor Dandaura, who also serves as the Vice President of NIPR, gave the commendation during an inspection tour of the construction site at Radio House, Abuja. He applauded the site engineers for their dedication and noted that the incorporation of a smart office component into the project is a remarkable innovation that will transform the secretariat into a state-of-the-art facility upon completion.

“The commitment of the project team is commendable. The smart office component will enhance efficiency and ensure that the NIPR National Secretariat meets the highest global standards in public relations administration,” he stated.

Accompanying him on the tour were prominent professionals, including:
Professor Uche Mbanaso, a Professor of Cybersecurity and Computing, and Managing Director/CEO of First Digit Communications, Abuja; Professor Jonathan Agber – Adviser on Power and Renewable Energy to the Benue State Government and Professor Nwojo Agwu Nnanna – Head of the Computer Science Department, Nile University of Nigeria.

The NIPR National Secretariat project is a landmark initiative that reflects the institute’s commitment to excellence, professionalism, and digital transformation.

The Spokespersons Digest, a sister publication of PRNigeria reports that the NIPR House is an ultra-modern complex, designed to meet international standards.

During the task team’s inauguration, NIPR President and Chairman of Council, Dr Ike Neliaku, described the project as a historic milestone for the Institute.

Dr Neliaku expressed gratitude to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and technical partners Mesotho Group of Companies and SNECOU Group for their dedication.

Located within the prestigious Radio House complex in Abuja’s Central Business District, the complex will also host the NIPR Television and the Abuja liaison office of the proposed University of Public Relations and Leadership, supported by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
