COAS Oluyede Tasks Troops to Justify Security Funds with Decisive Action

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has urged troops to justify the funds being expended on security by taking decisive action to secure Nigeria.

Gen. Oluyede made this call during his visit to the Headquarters 32 Artillery Brigade in Akure, Ondo State, where he addressed troops at the Parade Ground in Owena Cantonment.

According to the COAS, “I appreciated the efforts of the troops in ensuring security in their AOR and enjoined them to be more proactive and deliberate in conducting their operations with the required tenacity to make Nigeria better secured and justify the funds being expended on security.”
