FCT Police Investigate Fatal Train Accident on Gwagwa-Idu Rail Line
A fatal train accident occurred on March 24, 2025, along the Gwagwa-Idu railway line, claiming the life of an unidentified woman. The FCT Police Command has launched an investigation into the incident.
According to FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the police responded to a distress call at around 11:00 AM, reporting an unconscious female on the railway tracks behind Zeberced Company, Idu.
Upon arrival, officers found the lifeless and disfigured body of the woman, believed to have been struck by a train.
