NIPR Mourns Ex-VP, Tyotom Keghku
With very heavy heart, the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) wishes to announce the death of its former Vice President and 1st Director of Public Relations, Tyokom Keghku
, Ph.D, who passed on today in Makurdi, Benue State.
In a condolence message to the family through the Chairman, Benue State Chapter, the President, Dr. Ike Neliaku said that the late Vice President was an elder statesman, who gave his all in service to the Institute and remained passionate about the affairs of the profession till death.

Dr. Neliaku described him as “phenomenal in all ramifications and one of the great pillars of our Institute. Indeed, Dr. Keghku was an institution within the Institute”.
Until his death, late Tyotom Keghku, Ph.D, was a Member of the Project Implementation Committee of the proposed University of Public Relations and Leadership; Vice Chairman, Fellowship Advisory Committee; and Editor-in-Chief of the NIPR biannual journal.
We will miss his calm, mature and inspirational insights on issues.
We pray for the good Lord to comfort his family and all the loved ones he left behind.
