FG remains committed to addressing Plateau attacks – NSA Ribadu assures
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has assured that the Federal Government is actively addressing the recent security breach in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, where several communities were attacked by suspected militias.
This was made known on Sunday, April 6, 2025, during the NSA’s operational visit to the Headquarters of Operation SAFE HAVEN in Plateau State. The visit followed a directive by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, mandating immediate federal intervention to restore peace and stability in the affected communities.
According to a press statement issued by Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, Media Information Officer of Operation SAFE HAVEN, the NSA praised the swift response of security agencies in containing the violence and preventing its escalation.
