Troops Rescue 17 Kidnapped Victims in Kaduna
Troops of Sector 1, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have successfully rescued 17 kidnapped victims during a coordinated operation in Kaduna State.
The victims, including members of the Ezekiel and Obadiah families, were freed on Tuesday in what security officials described as a well-executed and courageous mission. The rescued individuals are: Samuel Ezekiel, Williams Ezekiel, Duza Ezekiel, Ishaku Ezekiel, Sunday Ezekiel, Alice Ezekiel, Victoria Ezekiel, Favor Ezekiel, Rebecca Obadiah, Blessing Obadiah, Alheri Obadiah, Gift Obadiah, Jummai Obadiah, Gloria Obadiah, Charity Obadiah, Friday Jessy, and Theresa Friday.

Upon rescue, the victims underwent medical evaluation and received necessary treatment. They were subsequently profiled and debriefed before being handed over to the Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Police Force for further action, including their safe reunion with family members.
Military authorities lauded the operation as a testament to the unwavering professionalism and dedication of the troops. They reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding lives and restoring peace across the northwest region, despite ongoing security challenges.
