Nigerian PR Firms Shine: Finalists Announced for SABRE Africa 2025 Awards in Mombasa

Again, top Nigerian public relations firms have emerged as leading contenders for the prestigious 2025 African SABRE Awards, set to take place on June 12, 2025, at the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa, Kenya. The awards ceremony will be held on the sidelines of the annual African Public Relations Association (APRA) conference.

The SABRE Awards, which celebrate Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement, recognize outstanding PR campaigns across the continent. This year’s entries were judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts.

Leading the pack from Nigeria is Chain Reactions Africa, with eight nominations across multiple categories including Company of the Year, Research and Planning, Western Africa, Corporate Social Responsibility, Healthcare, and Public Sector. The firm’s shortlisted campaigns were executed for clients such as Indomie Noodles, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture, and VIVEA.

Another strong Nigerian contender, Integrated Indigo Limited, secured five nominations in categories such as Corporate Image, Financial Communication, Media Relations, Industrial, and Manufacturing. The firm’s campaigns were executed for Nigerian Breweries, Unilever, InDrive, and Sanef Creative.

TPT International earned nominations in the Integrated Marketing and Media Relations categories for its work with the Anambra State Government and Rite Foods.

Beyond Nigeria, South African PR agencies also performed strongly. Retroviral and Ogilvy South Africa led the South African charge, each with seven finalist spots. Magna Carta Reputation Management, Clockwork, and FleishmanHillard SA followed with five nominations apiece. Others like Razor PR, Tribeca, and Irvine Partners received four nominations each, while Accenture PR and Levergy earned three each.

The 2025 Africa SABRE Awards feature over 120 shortlisted campaigns, selected from more than 500 entries across the continent.
