According to him, the newly created agencies are expected to stimulate innovation, regulate public signage, support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and strengthen social protection systems across the state.
“Our mission is to lay a solid foundation for a greater Kano. These laws go beyond policy — they are key instruments of transformation that will help drive our development agenda,” the governor stated.
He further emphasized the crucial role these institutions will play in job creation, attracting investment, and enhancing the implementation of government initiatives.
Governor Yusuf also warned that any violations of the new laws would attract strict penalties, reiterating his administration’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring strict compliance.
The establishment of these agencies marks another milestone in the Yusuf administration’s ongoing efforts to reform public institutions and position Kano as a center for innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
