NAF Trains Nigerian Army Personnel in Aviation Fuel Handling
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has inaugurated a training course on Aviation Fuel Handling and Administration for Nigerian Army Aviation personnel.
The NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed this today in a statement in Abuja.

He said the course was conducted at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage aviation fuel installations, conduct aircraft fuelling operations, and ensure fuel quality control.
He noted that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, emphasized the importance of logistics support in successful military operations.
“CAS expressed optimism that the training will enhance joint operational effectiveness and national defence capabilities.
“This collaboration between NAF and the Nigerian Army highlights AFIT’s role in driving technical excellence in Nigeria’s aviation sector. The training sets a new benchmark for integrated force training and cooperation between the two services”, he said.
He added that the training reflects the CAS’s commitment to mission-oriented training.
