NPRW 2026: Kaduna to Host 3rd Nigerian Public Relations Week Next Year

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced Kaduna State as the official host of the 3rd edition of the Nigerian Public Relations Week (NPRW) scheduled to hold from Monday, April 20 to Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The announcement was made by NIPR President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, during the closing ceremony of the 2025 NPRW held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the Kaduna State Chapter of NIPR, Haroun Malami, MNIPR, the selection of Kaduna highlights the chapter’s standing as a leading center of public relations excellence in Northern Nigeria. It also affirms the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to advancing strategic communication and national development through effective public relations practice.

“We are honored to be selected as the host of this landmark event,” Malami said. “Kaduna has a rich history of hosting impactful national events, and we are confident that NPRW 2026 will set a new benchmark in scope, participation, and impact.”

NPRW is the premier annual gathering of public relations professionals, media practitioners, communication experts, thought leaders, and industry stakeholders. The 2026 edition is expected to attract over 2,000 delegates from across Nigeria and abroad.

The week-long conference will feature plenary sessions, interactive workshops, exhibitions, cultural showcases, and extensive networking opportunities. Beyond its professional significance, the event is projected to boost Kaduna’s economy, particularly in hospitality, tourism, transportation, and local enterprise.

With a proven record of hosting successful national conferences and strong institutional support, the Kaduna Chapter of NIPR is poised to deliver a world-class event. Strategic collaborations with public and private sector partners are already underway to ensure the success of the 2026 edition.

The maiden NPRW was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2024, while the second edition recently concluded in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Kaduna is now set to take the torch forward—raising the bar for NPRW 2026.
