TRADOC, NATRAC Strengthen Collaboration to BOLSTER Military Operational Readiness
The Nigerian Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and the Nigerian Army Training Centre (NATRAC) have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration in military training to enhance the combat readiness of troops and address evolving security threats across the country.
This was disclosed in a statement by Lt Colonel Sani Uba, Spokesperson, TRADOC Nigerian Army.
During a familiarisation visit to TRADOC headquarters in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, the Commander of NATRAC, Major General John Sokoya, underscored the importance of synergy between the two strategic institutions in delivering effective, mission-specific, and realistic training for personnel of the Nigerian Army.
General Sokoya described TRADOC as the intellectual hub and doctrinal backbone of the Army, playing a pivotal role in shaping training standards and operational development across formations and units. He stressed that aligning efforts between TRADOC and NATRAC is vital to implementing the Chief of Army Staff’s Command Philosophy, which focuses on addressing contemporary and hybrid threats in a joint operational environment.
