NAF Neutralises Terrorists, Destroys Gun Trucks in Borno Operation
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), on Wednesday, has delivered a decisive airstrike that neutralised several terrorists and destroyed gun trucks in Buratai, Borno State.
The operation, executed under the ongoing Operation HADIN KAI, followed credible intelligence reports indicating the movement of insurgents attempting to escape with four gun trucks laden with combat supplies.
In a statement released by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at the NAF Headquarters, surveillance platforms had been tracking the terrorists’ movement along a known logistics route when the air assets were deployed.
