According to GOCOP President, Maureen Chigbo, the book highlights the evolution, challenges, and future of online journalism in Nigeria, drawing from the experiences and perspectives of the Guild’s 120 corporate publisher-members.

In a statement issued by GOCOP Publicity Secretary, Remmy Nweke, the event will also serve as a fundraiser for the proposed N2.3 billion GOCOP Media Centre,  a multi-purpose facility that will house a secretariat, a modern library, and event halls.

Neliaku, who is also the Chairman of Council, NIPR FCT Chapter, is an accomplished public relations expert, author, and public speaker.

He previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria between 2010 and 2015.

PRNigeria reports that GOCOP was founded to promote professionalism and uphold journalism ethics in online publishing.
