Board Postpones Recruitment into Immigration, Civil Defence, Fire, and Correctional Services
The Federal Government has announced a shift in the commencement date for the recruitment exercise into key paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.
In a statement issued Wednesday night by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), the recruitment process—initially scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 26, 2025—will now commence on Monday, July 14, 2025.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to notify the general public that its recruitment portal, earlier slated to open on Thursday, 26th June 2025, will now open on Monday, 14th July 2025,” the statement read.
The Board also disclosed that the official portal for interested applicants is: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, emphasizing that all applications are free of charge and do not attract any form of payment.
Applicants have been advised to take note of the new date and disregard any contrary information regarding the recruitment exercise.
The CDCFIB expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and appreciated the public’s understanding.
Earlier this week, the Board had announced the commencement of recruitment into four paramilitary services: the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
