It also includes solar-powered energy systems to ensure continuous operations, a functional borehole with water infrastructure, modern fire safety systems, and structured landscaping with accessible parking spaces—elements designed to enhance operational efficiency and community accessibility.
Speaking with evident emotion, Mr. Sheidu noted that the project holds deep personal significance, as Ekirin Ade also serves his hometown of Iyamoye. “This is not just a professional milestone, it is a deeply personal one,” he stated. “To see such a vital development unfold in this part of Kogi State is profoundly fulfilling.”
He also expressed gratitude to Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, recognizing their leadership and mentorship, as well as their unwavering commitment to grassroots development, which he said played a vital role in the successful execution of the project.
The Executive Secretary called on officers assigned to the station to uphold professionalism and public trust, emphasizing the critical role they play in maintaining peace and order.
He also encouraged the surrounding community to take ownership of the facility, engage constructively with the police, and help ensure its protection and longevity.
“This headquarters is not just a building,” Mr. Sheidu stressed. “It is a symbol of partnership between the Police and the people — a foundation for safer communities and a more resilient Nigeria.”
