Troops Neutralise Scores of Militias in Plateau
Troops of Sector 5 under Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have neutralised a suspected armed militia member during a clearance operation in Hokk community, located in the Mushere West District of Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.

According to security sources, the operation was carried out around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, as part of a long-range patrol across the Tulus and Hokk communities, near the Plateau–Nasarawa State border.
The troops reportedly came under fire from armed militias while approaching Hokk. However, they swiftly responded and successfully repelled the attack, killing one of the assailants, while others escaped.
As of the time of this report, troops remain actively deployed in the area, conducting aggressive patrols to forestall further militia activities and restore normalcy to the affected communities.
