SCN NGO Seals Partnership with PRNigeria to Amplify its Humanitarian Projects

In a move aimed at expanding its outreach and deepening the impact of its humanitarian interventions across Nigeria, the Supportive Circle Network Help Initiative (SCN) has formalised a strategic media partnership with PRNigeria.

A delegation from SCN, led by its Chairman, Malam AbdulKadir Abubakar, paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), publishers of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, on Wednesday in Abuja.

The team was warmly received by the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Malam Yushau Shuaib, and senior editorial staff.

During the visit, SCN outlined its journey since inception in 2021 and the full-scale commencement of its core activities in 2023, largely driven by internal funding from members.

Despite limited resources, the NGO has executed impactful projects, including a Feeding Programme for vulnerable populations, a Skills Acquisition Initiative that trained 200 youths and supported them with startup kits, and an Outreach to Correctional Centres aimed at rehabilitation and reintegration.

Malam Abubakar explained that the partnership with PRNigeria is part of SCN’s vision to scale up its programmes beyond Niger State, with planned interventions in Abuja and other regions.

“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved with little, and we’re ready to do more. This partnership will help us tell our story better and reach more lives across Nigeria,” he said.

In his remarks, Malam Yushau Shuaib commended SCN’s grassroots impact and reaffirmed PRNigeria’s support for development-focused initiatives.

“Your mission aligns with ours. We believe in using media to support causes that uplift society, and we’ll provide every platform necessary to amplify your work,” Shuaib assured.

The partnership will see PRNigeria offering media coverage, publicity, and storytelling support for SCN’s future projects, as the NGO intensifies efforts to improve livelihoods through rehabilitation, youth empowerment, and humanitarian outreach.
