Expose Criminals Hiding as Agitators, Anambra CP Tells Residents
The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu has called on residents to expose criminal elements disguising as self-government agitators, warning that such individuals are undermining the state’s peace and security under false pretences.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the CP decried the recent surge in violent activities linked to impostors exploiting separatist rhetoric to carry out extortion, abduction, and targeted attacks.
He urged community leaders, youth groups, and stakeholders to actively support law enforcement efforts to dismantle these networks.
