Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Diplomatic Visits to Saint Lucia, Brazil
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a strategic two-nation diplomatic mission that took him to Saint Lucia and Brazil, where he engaged in high-level talks aimed at bolstering Nigeria’s global partnerships and advancing South-South cooperation.
The President’s return to Abuja was confirmed through short statement, photos and a short video clip shared by presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga on his official Facebook handle.

Recall that the President’s itinerary began with a state visit to Saint Lucia, where he held bilateral engagements designed to deepen Nigeria’s relationship with Caribbean nations. The visit underscored Nigeria’s renewed commitment to fostering unity and collaboration among countries in the Global South.
From the Caribbean, President Tinubu proceeded to Brazil to participate in the 17th BRICS Summit held in Rio de Janeiro. The summit brought together leaders of emerging economies to discuss key global issues including economic cooperation, trade, climate action, and security.
